Stratum:   Mixed fill west of pit 2006-4. Dark, reddish-brown, poorly cemented, 5% inclusions, moderately sorted, pebbles
Notes:   Continued excavation of mixed fill west of pit 2006-4 and the well head/manhole. This continued to reveal large amounts of plaster as well as some bone. We also uncovered small amounts of bronze fragments, glass, and iron. The southern side of the cutting for this basket is beginning to show signs of an inward slope, while the western edge is being maintained as we excavate further, 1 large boulder was uncovered during the removal of this basket. We closed the basket not due to any noticeable change in soil composition, but rather due to the amount of soil that had been removed.
