Name:   NB986 B53 P140
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   986
Context:   53
Page:   140
Date:   2007/05/14
Stratum:   Fill/baulk removal, yellowish-brown, silty loose, 30% inclusions, poorly sorted, pebbles, large cobbles, and tiles
Notes:   Removal of the baulk/fill east of the diamond tile pool that we first began to excavate as basket 32. We removed this baulk in order to clear the edge of the pebble mosaic floor directly to the north. We closed this basket when we were confident that this edge was sufficiently clean and that we had removed any possible contamination. This basket revealed very little pottery and no other small finds.
