| Notes: | Removal of what may be the foundation trench of W 302. This pass removed a thin section of soil just west of W 302. This pass revealed a small amount of pottery, some bone, and a single coin. We have decided to sieve this material as well. The layer was in contact with W 302 and we closed the basket when we reached the level of the foundation vlocks reached at the close of basket 28. We stopped digging to the south before the end of W 302 because we were concerned that later activity may have contaminated the foundation trench fill to the south.
