Stratum:   10% poorly sorted inlcusions of pottery sherds, tile fragments, and small pebbles (rounded, subrounded, and angular) in a dark yellowish brown loose sandy silt
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the NW. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NWThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   While waiting for the complete removal of the clay floor and the orange and clay feature we decided to excavate two of the remaining contexts (B114, B116) in the Northern section of the excavation area which were on top of contexts that were cut by the construction trench of the EW wall. Andeas excavated B114 in a short period of time. Excavating B114, B116 was necessary so that once the clay floor, the orange and clay feature/oven, and any other later contexts are removed we can excavate those contexts cut by the EW wall's construction trench and begin to have a unified sense of the the excavation area's stratigraphy, making joins between areas of the same context like joins between pottery sherds.
This deposit has a linear shape but it is not clear that this is intentional as the E edge of the context was removed with the trial trench dug to the E in 1936 by Amyx and Morgan.
