Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This was a cleaning operation to remove the top layer of soil (probably washed into the area by rainfall) before we begin to excavate here. It is likely contaminated, and we did not sieve.
