The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | At about 12:15 on the 25th, Thanasis, Alicia, and I conferred to decide what to do after Thanasis has finished B45. We are digging B47 because it overlays the tile scatter [later dug with B51] and is very soft - it is the next stratagraphic unit to remove in this area. This is the area which includes the cut left by removal of the fill of the small ash pit (B44).
