Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Levelling fill deposit 502 is al ens of differentiated fill a top a larger matrix of fills that appear to be deposited on top of a layer of rooftile destruction from the collapse of the roof of an earlier phase of use. Levelling fill deposit is imagined to coordinated with the fills 387 and 389 to create a level surface for the clay floor 379 which may indicate later reoccupation of the space bounded by wall 306, 365, 332 and 305. A complete small vessel, perhaps cup or egg cup, with a tapered flaring base and rim was recovered in the excavation of this deposit (262.62 E, 1001.60 N, 86.80).
