Stratum:   40% inclusions: mostly stones and broken tiles, also large animal bones.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the SThe soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We are excavating the rubble under the E section fo the N wall of Room F, W1/2, E of the vertical orthostate which is still in situ.
The fill has the appearance of pit fill. Instead of excavating from the vertical orthostate E to the orthostate block that intersects the potatostone wall, we are dividing the area into the W and E sections: the W section (this context is B 5053) has redder soil, whereas the E section has blacker soil. We suspect that this is more of the same pit that we excavated in B 5034.
A stone is beginning to appear following the line of the N wall of Room F, by which I mean it is set several centimeters N of the vertical orthostate. This suggests to me that the N wall of Room F continued in this area, which we had thought was a doorway. Perhaps this is the foundation for a threshold block, later removed? If this wall continues and joins with the orthostate built up to on both its N and S sides by the potatostone wall, we can confirm that the N wall of Room F, W and the N wall of Room F, E are in fact the same wall.
