Notes:   B5141 is the excavation of a layer that contains ashes. It was revealed by B5140, B5138 and B5110. B5141 revealed another phase of wall 23 (NB228) which contains large rectangular ashlar blocks similar to the one of wall 20 (NB228) and roughly at the same elevation with it. A change in the matrix of B5141 was noted where the soil became less greyish and contained large cobbles. It is therefore decided to end this basket at this point.
Note: Due to a mix up of the zembils that were meant to be sieved, the pottery of B5141 has been combined with the one from B5140.
B5141 could pottentially be a foundation trench for wall 23 (NB228).
