Description:   The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   We start taking context 5305 as a shallow cleaning pass to expose soil changes where Wall 5285 is still covered by soil. After the soil was taken it appears the fill is the same on both sides of where the wall would be. After some scraping of the scarp north of Wall 5285. It appears as if the fill is deep and there is a gap in the wall. Both sides of Wall 5285 seem to have similar loose soil with large inclusions. We stop here.
