Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the NE. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Pit fill deposit 530 is the first lense from the top in a large pit cut through the floor that extends from wall 313 to the east to wall 332 to the west. Prior to the excavation of the slumped clay deposit 529, the western edge of the pit 528 that 530 fills was obscured. There is only a slight, if any change in the soil of 529 and 530; however it was decided to change context to excavated the deposit that is within the cut (530). The removal of the pit fill lens with white clay revealed an inward sloping red dirt. It is noted that there are patches revealed that strikingly resemble the floor into which the pit was cut; based on this evidence it is possible that the large pit 528 was open for a long time or only partially filled and the well of the pit slid inward. There are pieces of the floor that have evidently moved ca. 0.15 m downwards toward the pit, such that is possible that these patches that resemble the red clay surface with pebbly red sublayer are in fact pieces of the same floor that were moved ca. 0.40 m. It is decided to stop excavation of the white clay deposit, though it continues under the floor patches and excavate the patches of floor separately as deposits 531 and 532.
