Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Context 535 is the excavation of the third from top fill of pit cut 528. Pit cut 528 is cut in the red clay floor bounded by wall 313 to the east and 332 to the west. The soil matrix is characterized by a high inclusion in cibbles and rooftiles (building material). The fill falls easily away from the walls of the pit when hit with the pick axe. While digging Kostas uncovered a cut block on the southeast wall of the cut. The block follows the curve of the walls of the cut.
As it happened with context 534, the shape of context 535 is almost semicircular. Part of this fill was dug out when pit cut 526 was initially oppened. Now, with the excavation of 535 it seems that we underdug the last fill (525) in pit cut 526. We noticed that the fill with the cobbles continues under the lens that seems to belong to pit cut 526. We decided to close this context and excavate the fill from cut 526 as a separate context.
