Stratum:   Small, medium and large subrounded pebbles; 10%
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   We opened this context as a removal of a tile patch over a depression in a pebble floor 5934, associated with drain 5938. The patch is composed of broken sherds about 7cm x 7cm on average. At the bottom of this level, after removing the sherds and a thin (about 5cm) layer of yellowish soil, we exposed more of the pebble surface beneath. The area directly underneath this context is patchier than to the north of this context, with less cement holding the pebbles together. Under this level there is also a thin layer of dark, compact soil, 5929.
To the northeast, two stones that are associated with the southwest of the stone drain lining were exposed.
There are no bones recorded with this context because the tag blew away on the tables, leaving them unmarked.
