Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Context 6180 was opened because a distinct cut (6199) was encountered along its N side as contexts 6141, 6105 and 6058 were removed. There was additionally a change in the soil color and composition. The soil of 6180 was a fill of variously sized tile pieces, bits of pottery and cobbles, particularly concentrated over its E and W thirds, with the central third containing more dirt and fewer tiles/sherds/cobbles. When removed, another cut was discovered. This cut (6199) is slightly south of the cut encountered previously (that led to the opening of 6180) and curves further to the southwest. The soil color changes at and below this new cut, warranting the closing of context 6180. Along the eastern third of 6180, context 6184 was opened.
