Notes:   Structure 6375 is the remains of a robbed out N-S wall which sits at the boundary between courtyard of Byzantine house and room immediately west. Only the foundation courses are visible and consist of limestone boulders, roughly hewn, set in regular courses. The northern limit of the wall is threshold 6320 which is in perfect alignment and should represent an E-W doorway associated with wall 6375. The southern limit is also a threshold, threshold 6347, which also appears to be an E-W doorway associated with this wall.
Wall 6375 robbed out in antiquity (robbing trench cut 6350). Much of the eastern part of this cut disturbed by later action (cut 6362). Possible that this wall contemporary with bothros defined by cut 6377.
Later notes (CMT/DPG 19-5-10): While excavating in the room NW of the courtyard, we uncovered more of an extension of wall 6375 (N 1035.80-1036.20) which needed to be removed to uncover more of a floor surface uncovered in 6969. This stub of the wall appears to have been robbed out at its N end, and truncated by the built pithos 6881.
