Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Context 6418 is fill within bothros defined by cut 6419 which is bounded on southern side by wall 5285. Below bothros defined by cut 6410. Decision made to dry sieve entire contents to look for pottery and coins. Cut 6419 is smaller than 6410 suggesting if pit still existence when 6410 dug this could represent an extension.
Soil is dark reddish brown clayey silt with approximately 25% inclusions (ceramics, stones, bone, plant material). Context 6418 and its associated cut, 6419, truncate several floor levels revealed by excavation of this bothros. Removal of context 6418 revealed another cut which appears to be the construction of wall 5285. A foundation trench for wall 5285 (6314, cut 6315) identified at elevation higher than both bothroi (Cuts 6410, 6419). This indicates that lowest part of wall 5285 represents original construction which predates the two bothroi. Upper part of wall defined by foundation trench 6314, cut 6315) was later addition which post-dates filling of the bothroi. This also suggests that these bothroi will not be identified in room immediately to the south.
