Description:   The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Context 6454 is a cleaning of a tramped down surface immediately west of wall 10113 and southeast of staircase 6296. We suspected that a tile fill directly west actually continued to this area so we decided to clean this area to clarify. Removal of context 6454 revealed that the tile fill did continue into the area of 6454. The northern boundary of the context was 5518 (cut 5521). The soil was hard, dark, yellowish, brown clayey silt with approximately 15% inclusions.
