Description:   The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This context is the removal of the fill in the cut for the foundation trench of wall 7039. This is fairly soft soil, but there appears to be a lamina of even softer soil in the 1-2 cm nearest the wall. It is unclear what formed this at this point. The upper portion of the context is sloped downwards from the North to the South, and it is so much higher in the north that we will take the northern portion as a separate context, just W of the stone structure in the NW corner of the room, 7092, whose purpose is unknown as of yet. This context is in the room NE of the courtyard.
