| Notes: | This context was distinguished from 884 by compaction, in fact 885 is softer than 884. This context is located S of the robbing trench 759. We stopped excavating this context when it became clear that 885 was cut by a pit (884 = 887) on its E side. So we decide to come back to 884, giving it a new context number, 887. 7 June 2012 This morning Thanasis continued excavating 887, and it became clear that 885 and 887 were actually the same fill, so he ended up digging these two fills as a single context, which we named 887. | |
