Description:   The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   With the workmen having finished 903, Thanasi recommended taking down the black soil to the west of the plaster pit (now 906) in order to see the relationship between the red layer 903 and the red layer north of well 742. With the triangle, Thanasi is defining the context and is pulling a great deal of plaster to the Northwest. The context to the immediate west seems to have a good deal of pottery sticking out.
Interestingly, we have a clear view of part of the northern face of well 742. It appears that the well cuts into the southern wall of the plaster pit where we had thought we had found a corner. This fact coupled with the presence of plaster to the NW suggests that we have found more of the plaster pit or at least another context associated with it.
We stopped digging this context in order to understand if it goes under the reddish soil in its S part (907). After digging 907, we ended up considering 907 and 906 equal.
