Title:   Small Black Patch on Edge of Destruction Layer
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1106
Context:   928
Page:   0
Date:   2012/06/13
Stratum:   pottery, tile, bone, pebbles, glass; 20% inclusions
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This is the smallest of all contexts. It consists of two parts; first, the dark patch on the E edge of the destruction layer, which seems to be cutting the latter; second, a black patch to the NE of context 923 that abuts the wall which forms the N boundary of 923. Glass was recovered from the screen. We mainly ''excavated'' the north patch with broom alone - the soil was very loose from being exposed for so long.
