Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes: | This is the smallest of all contexts. It consists of two parts; first, the dark patch on the E edge of the destruction layer, which seems to be cutting the latter; second, a black patch to the NE of context 923 that abuts the wall which forms the N boundary of 923. Glass was recovered from the screen. We mainly ''excavated'' the north patch with broom alone - the soil was very loose from being exposed for so long. 18 June 2012: Remnant of fill from pit C784. - RM/KM
