Description:   Top slope of the context is steep down to the S. The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is lose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context was revealed by the removal of the ashy layer 144. It was distinctively softer and bordered on the north and west sides by cut blocks of the stoa's walls and bedrock. It continued under under the drain 107 next to the west side of wall 38. We stopped on the south because there was an area of more compacted soil. The soil is very similar to that on the east side of the block (116?). This context went to the bottom of the blocks on the lower course. We removed 90 liters of soil. The lowest course of blocks fits on the bedrock with the cut.
