Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish yellow. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context appeared at first to be a small circular pit like 276. It is, however, a shallow depsression in the bedrock truncated by pit 282 to the west - it may have been incidental to the digging of that pit. The soil was nearly sterile with only one find - a carbonized olive pit.
