Title:   Reddish Patch of Soil in East Half of Trench
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1110
Context:   368
Date:   2016/04/13
Lot:   Lot 2016-030
Stratum:   small rocks, cypress root
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is clayey sand.
Notes:   we suspected that the rocks-- larger than any inclusions seen so far in 368-- visible in the southern portion before excavation are part of the layer of which 365 is part (370). Costas confirmed this suspicion. This rocky layer of which 354 is part constitutes about 80% of what lay below 368. the remainder to the north was a thin red layer which runs under 370 and 365 and rests on redeposited bedrock.
