Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey sand.

We remove the small patch of soil cutting into the red pebbly matrix (449) located next to the north wall between cut 389 and deposit 342. This ends up being a longish narrow deep cut along the wall that reaches the same level as the bottom of 310 against the north wall. There are a lot of large roots running through this deposit.
