Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1109
Context:   66
Date:   2015/05/21
Lot:   Lot 2015-056
Stratum:   10% medium limestone chunks, 20% medium to small cobbles, 10% medium to large pebbles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven down to the W. The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Characteristics: 66 is more compact than 37
The martyr was left between contexts 64 and 65 in order to explore the junction point of the EW and NS RT's as its own context. Most likely, the exploration of the soil will reveal the same material and formation processes as contexts 37, 54, and 60 (contexts that revealed the NS-64- and EW -65- RT's). The eastern 20 cm of the context is at a higher elevation than the rest of the context, by approx 20 cm.
A coin was found at el. 81.09 on the west side of the context. Another was found in the sieve.
At the bottom of this context we revealed a large square block, wider than the courses to its N and E. The soil throughout was mixed and it was not possible to distinguish any cuts. Panos' comment was that the soil in both RTs was the same, which is quite possible as they occurred close together in time as part of the same activity.
