The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt. | Notes: | | We continued xcavating the robbing trench for the drain capstones 232. We decided to remove the fill of the robbing trench in two contexts, because the soil texture altered: it became softer, darker, and had a bigger amount of carbonized organics. The removal of the robbing trench revealed a flat dark brown surface. This surface can be associated with the construction fill for drain 232. | Context Pottery: | | Fineware. slipped plain glazed (1100-1300), pitcher. 2 bodysherds.
