Title: | Stony 'chaotic' fill west of Grave 2014-09
Category: | Deposit | |
Notebook: | 1109 | |
Context: | 625 | |
Date: | 2015/04/24 | |
Stratum: | Pottery, bone, tile, brick, small boulders and cobbles, some charcoal
Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes: | This context, similar to 624, is a stony fill that seems to have fallen or otherwise been deposited chaotically into the fill matrix. It was taken out quickly (c. 5 min.) by Kostas at the end of the day on Friday. The context even felt similar to 624 to me, but Kostas insisted that it was different, primarily (I think) because the two contexts physically did not touch one another. They were thus taken out as separate contexts and may be equated later. 01/06/2015 (Larkin Kennedy, Rossana Valente) Animal bones: sheep/goat, 0,03 kg, all thrown.
