Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   The top broken edges of the pot were exposed and in discussion with L. Kennedy, it was decided to take the pot and its contents into the museum with Context 703. 703 appears to be the same as 704, or at least the pot was resting in 704. It is possible that the pot is in situ and the sides fell and rested alongside and within the pot. It is possible that the bottom may have some of the original residue. The top of the pot was at 84.90 m, the bottom at 84.82 m, and the sides resting nearby were at 84.85 m.
Later note: 703 does not equal 704. The date of the pottery suggests that, while they are close in date, 704 may be earlier.
