Description: | The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand. | |
Notes: | Lots of rocky inclusions. Softer soil than 848 above. The similar surface at east is harder packed, and probably extends beneath the present context. Spit at the west has fewer inclusions of stone but same soil matrix. \the \u-shape in the middle of the context is harder than surroundings, thus excluded from the context. Excavation continued the morning of 11/6, up to wall 720. 24/06/2015 Larkin Kennedy, Rossana Valente Animal bones: pig, sheep/goat, very fragmentary, all thrown (1.08 kg). | |
