Context:   864
Date:   2015/06/12
Lot:   Lot 2015-034
Stratum:   15% spherical sub-rounded small pebbles. Larger proportion of shards and bones than surrounding contexts.
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silt.
Notes:   11.15: Despite the idea of moving to the white layer after the excavation of 862, the cleaning of the bottom of the deposit revealed a lens of looser soil characterised also by the presence of bones and fragments of pottery in a much higher proportion than the context above. They also occur in a horizontal disposition, as if the layer were trampled before being covered by 862.
15/06/2015:
7.38: Excavation ended in the area early in the morning with the cleaning of the boundary between 864 and the white clay surface. The context was left opened during the weekend but no rain took place.
