Title:   Second cut in Grave 2016-03
Notebook:   1110
Context:   946
Date:   2016/05/11
Description:   The context shape in plan is linear. The top break of the cut is gradual. The sides of the cut are concave. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is sloping. Truncation: Truncated by cut 944 and disturbed to the east by the excavation of bone pile 945.
Notes:   This cut was found during the excavation of context 943. I tis likely a reopening cut of the cist tomb being revelaed within it, but it is not the original cist burial cut. Thus the tomb has been reopened at least twice in addition to the original burial for which the cist was built. The eastern portion of the cut was disturbed by the later reopening (cut 944) and deposition of bone pile (ske 945)), the bone pile in the SE corner of the cut.
The cut has been designated "linear," but it likely encompassed the cist in a rectugular or oval fashion.
I have indicated that the base of the cut is sloping, but it is actually pretty unclear what the bottome of this cut looks like. The bone layer (952) that was removed
