Decoration: | Exterior: fine rays around top at base of handle; triple dicing set off by broad black band on either side; band of dot rosettes alternating with three vertical zigzags; two fine lines set off animal frieze: l. to r., head and chest of panther to r., head frontal; stag grazing to l.; lion to r., with mouth open, tail curling erect; sickly wing, tail of sphinx (?) at r. Break. Filling ornament of incised rosettes, and solid dots. Below frieze, triple dicing between heavy lines; dots on outer edge of rim. Interior plain.
