Description:   All of base and over half of body of kantharos. Hollow pedestal foot in one degree, rising from wide, flat foot to a narrow neck (Diam. of neck 0.036) where it joins body. Body in two parts - lower body flares steeply out to 0.036m above base, where it meets sharply inset upper body walls. Max diam. of body occurs at this meeting (0.110m). Upper body walls, convex in profile, rise almost straight vertically to plain rim. Stump of one strap handle, triangular in section, preserved at joint of upper and lower body.
Similar to CP 2732.
Decoration:   Carination between upper and lower body decorated with semi-circular, finger-nail shaped gouches. Rim with three parallel horizontal incised lines. Interior and exterior burnished.
Material:   Coarse gray clay with mica.
Munsell Color:   N 4/ (dark gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Complete profile mended from four frgts.
