Description:   Local red-slipped plate imitating Italian Sigillata Conspectus form 3.2 or form 8 with flaring ring foot with interior wheel grooves, wide slightly sloping floor, sharp carination leading to tall flaring wall, and outturned rim beveled on outer edge. Similar to C-1937-2207 (Hayes 1973, Hesperia 42, no. 209), C-1964-466 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 123), C-1969-280.
Decoration:   Red slip on interior and exterior except interior of foot. Slip uneven and mottled, from red (2.5YR 4/6) to very dusky red (2.5YR 2.5/2) on interior and exterior, except stacking ring which is red (10R 5/8). Two grooves on interior below lip.

Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., preserving complete profile, entire base, 1/2 rim. Slip well-preserved on interior and exterior with some chips missing.
