Description:   Fruit stand with ribbed upper foot with flat undersurface with central medallion. Similar to C-1937-1656 (Corinth 11)
Decoration:   Mottled green and brown clay on interior with some drips onto exterior. Impressed design in center medallion of two peacocks in heraldic opposition with tree in between (Corinth 11). Incribed graffiti on interior of foot with letter "N" above letter "π" (Corinth 11).
Material:   Coarse white clay with rare, fine red inclusions with rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/1 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving 1/4 foot, most of central medallion.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
