Description:   Plate with very shallow, wide-flaring body, turning up to flattened lip.
Decoration:   Thin white slip over all. Incised on interior: guillochecircling plate just within lip. Small bird, feet toward lip, stands in profile to rt., wings folded, with tendril or worm ? hanging from mouth. Light greenish-yellow glaze inside, and overlapping lip on exterior.
Material:   Coarse buff clay with scattered coarse red inclusions, voids.

Condition:   Fragment. Single rim frgt., considerably worn.
