Description:   Locally-produced pitcher with moulded ring base, ovoid body, and concave neck. Evidence for single handle.
Decoration:   Red (2.5YR 4/8, unevenly applied and unevenly fired) slip on exterior. Deep vertical grooves on wall that swoop counterclockwise near the base.
Material:   Fine pink fabric with rare small round voids and rare large rounded dark gray inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Seventeen joining frgts., preserving entire base, 1/2 body, and base of neck. Slip well-preserved.
Period:   Middle Roman (2/2 2nd c-4th c AD)
Chronology:   2nd-3rd c. CE?, based on Corinth 18.2
