Description:   bowl with slightly concave bottom, 2 base rings, hemispherical body, vertical rim, horizontal outturned lip.
Decoration:   Bottom: rosette; body: ring of acanthus leaves; ring of rosettes alternating with clumps of grapes. Remainder apparently plain. Dull black glaze, fired to red on rim, over all.
Material:   Fine tan clay with rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Near 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile: 3/4 bottom, ca. 1/4 body, rim; glaze worn.
