Description:   Closed shape with convex body in so far as preserved.
Decoration:   Exterior: ground painted light red, against which neck and wing of a siren or sphinx ? in profile to rt. Neck white, with black vertical "stripe" at rt. break - hair ?; wing spread with incised flight feathers and incised lines circling base of wing; added purple on wing base and on alternating flight feathers. Interior unglazed.
Material:   Fine pale buff clay without visible inclusions.

Condition:   Fragment. Single body frgt., broken all around; paint partly flaked away.
