Description:   Plate with low vertical ring foot, flat undersurface. Shallow body flaring at 30 degrees, then turning up vertically to horizontal outturned rim.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor, large medallion with swan swimming lt., floral sprays on imbricate ground. Narrow bead band. Broad band of Kufic on imbricate ground; decadent rinceau on rim. Pale yellow glaze over all.
Material:   Fine hard light red clay, scattered tiny whiteinclusions, few coarse voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 2.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile, over half foot, ca. fourth body, 1/8 rim.
