Description:   Bowl with flat base, body with compound curve : base rising at 80 degrees, convex body at 45 and lip at 80 degrees, in a continuous curve. Lip rounded and very slightly everted.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and overlapping lip. On interior, 3 circumference grooves run from lip to large band of running spirals, of which 3 complete, 2 partially so, on hatched ground; on floor, tondo of an overlapping figure eight; centers of "8" filled with single dotted rosette; in angles, dotted palmette on hatched ground. Yellow-green glaze on interior and over lip. 3 circumference grooves on exterior just above base.
Material:   Fine light red to brown clay with a very few, very fine inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/6 to near 5YR 5/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts. preserving all of base and ca. 40% of body to lip.
