Description:   Bowl with vertical, ring foot, almost hesmisperhical body, tapered lip.
Decoration:   Green and Brown Painted III according to Morgan's classification. White slip on inner surface to over lip on exterior. Decoration as described by Morgan: 'central eight-point rosette, the alternate petals being elongated trinagles; in field, curved halves of slip-palmettes; designs in green outlined with brown' (Corinth XI, catalogue n.482, p. 222). Colourless overglaze on inner surface to over lip on exterior.
Material:   Fine, hard, fabric, light reddish brown in colour with few (0.25-1.5mm) spherical-angular, red inclusions; few (0.25-1.5mm) spherical-angular, white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts preserve complete profile; complete foot, one sixth of body and rim.
