Description:   Plate with slightly flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, recessed undersurface. Shallow wide-flaring body with convex profile.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, body and head of animal, deer ?, directed rt. with head turned back and down; two long pointed ears, and long object shaped like baseball bat (foreleg ?) projecting from between ears. Eye heavily incised; body dotted with heavy stipples, with row of tiny stipples along outline. Beneath, small animal running to lt. with incised body, reserved head with large round eye, short pointed ears. Stippled hindquarter (?) and very long tail of deer or 3rd animal at lt. break with tail extending to deer's mouth; floral sprays in field. Yellow glaze on interior, clear glaze on exterior.
Material:   Coarse light red clay, imperfectly compacted, with voids, frequent white inclusions.

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving half foot, floor, start of lower body.
