Description:   Bowl with low, fine flaring ring foot, narrow rounded resting surface, flat undersurface. Deep body with flaring, slightly convex profile, max. diam. at tapered oblique lip. Spiral paring marks on exterior of body.
Decoration:   White slip over all, more thickly applied to interior. Sgraffito: central medallion of 8-armed cross; band of rinceau; narrow hatched band; on body, two obands of Kufic motives. Pale yellow glaze in, green glaze out.
Material:   Moderately fine light brown clay with rare angular white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 5/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., complete profile. 3/4 foot, floor, 1/4 body to lip.
