Description:   ESB plate with double convex upper wall and flaring tapered rim. ESB 2. Hayes Form 51 (Hayes 1986, p. 62, Tavola XIII, 13).
Decoration:   Lustrous red slip on interior and exterior.
Material:   Hard, fine, red, micaceous fabric with rare, fine, platy, angular voids and laminar to granular breaks.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 2.5YR 5/8 (red); Surface (slip): 2.5YR 4/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving one-sixth of rim and small part of vessel upper wall. Part of rim chipped away. Slip missing from exterior edge of lip.
