Description:   Goblet with thick ridged stem, deep round body, flaring rim.
Decoration:   Dark greenish-brown glaze all over.
Material:   Coarse gray to dark gray clay with small to large rounded spherical and tabular common white and few gray inclusions, and frequent angular platy and tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 5/1 (gray) to 4/1 (dark gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., formerly -A and -B, preserving upper part of stem, small part of body, approx. 1/8 rim; missing base and lip.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
Chronology:   10-11th c. CE, according to Morgan 1942
