Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting surface, recessed undersurface. Nearly horizontal body turning up vertically to broad horizontal outturned rim with round lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Incised on floor: warrior dressed in doublet and hose runs to lt. holding an enormous oval shield decorated with 3 vertical grooves and 2 columns of horizontal bars; floral motifs in field. Of warrior have one arm, hand and both legs to ankles. On rim: groups of 4 bars alternating with concentric circles.
Material:   Light red clay with scattered small red inclusions, fracture rough.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile; half foot, ca. 1/10 body to rim.
