Description:   Plate with low vertical ring foot, flat resting surface and undersurface; shallow, nearly horizontal body, gradually curving up to low, vertical rim with tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip inside, and over exterior rim and upper body. Interior, central medallion with dotted circle from which radiate 4 pointed petals, pendent triangles between; broad band of spiral and Kufic motif; dots on lip. Clear glaze over slip, overfired and vitrified, giving mirror like finish; puddle of glaze or slip on floor. Similar to C-1935-257.
Material:   Hard-fired clay with rare small gray inclusions, and common small to large angular platy and subrounded spherical and tabular voids.

Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., preserving complete profile, ca. 1/3 foot, lower body, ca. 1/8 upper body-rim.
