Description:   Plate or bowl (?) with wide convex body curving up to outturned narrow rim and broad round lip.
Decoration:   White slip outside and over upper part of exterior. Interior, broad band of spiral and kufic below rim. Groups of bars (?) on rim. No glaze. Similar to C-1938-464.
Material:   Reddish-yellow clay with frequent small and medium rounded spherical and tabular white and gray inclusions. Rare small angular plary voids.
Munsell Color:   Ca. 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper body to rim.
